The Role

FinMkt is seeking a Director of Marketing to join our hardworking and fast-paced team. This key individual will reflect the values of FinMkt and be responsible for optimizing and scaling our marketing efforts to accelerate growth. This role is critical in ensuring that our marketing strategies are effectively executed with precision, speed, and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, initiatives and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that attract mid to large sized home improvement, healthcare organizations, banks, credit unions and non-bank lenders.
  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and metrics for success.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are executed on time and aligned with business goals. 
  • Work with key stakeholders to create and execute demand generation and lead nurturing strategies.
  • Facilitate the development of outward-facing collateral and content marketing.
  • Focus on multi-channel acquisition programs that seamlessly integrate webinars, email, website, paid advertising and social media to drive demand.
  • Coordinate with internal teams around SEO strategy and analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with business development to ensure that leads and resulting opportunities are qualified, actionable and reported accurately.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on content creation and lead generation. 
  • Provide leadership and insights, supporting strategic planning as well as being a hands-on member of the team.
  • Understand and apply industry best practices to process creation, adding recommendations as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A creative, marketing or other suitable degree (desirable).
  • Experience marketing SaaS to large enterprises, firms, consultancies and technology resellers.
  • A minimum of 7 years of marketing leadership experience is preferred.
  • Significant experience working within a creative, marketing, media or PR department. A solid understanding and experience of practical application of marketing concepts and approaches is essential.
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with cross-functional and leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding and experience in executing SEO strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills in written English, and the ability to edit content to maximize the impact of communications. Proofreading and copywriting skills will be required for creating content across multiple channels including websites, social media, newsletters and brochures.
  • Technically proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop. Video editing experience using Adobe software would also be advantageous. Experience using Webflow (desirable).
  • An understanding of a range of digital channels including social media, web applications, podcasts and streaming platforms.
  • Well organized and able to plan and execute a program – managing to budget and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Analytical with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and resilient.
  • Proficient in all MS office and Google suite applications.
  • Ability to ensure that all activity is consistent with the overall marketing strategy using sound creative judgment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with clients and third parties.
  • A creative thinker who can bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • A passion for pushing creative boundaries and contributing to the growth of FinMkt.
  • Be self-directed and self-motivated with demonstrated experience in providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity – consistency, trustworthiness, honesty and fairness in dealing with clients and the internal FinMkt team communications.
